The Presidium (Board) of ADT consists of the President, the Vice-President and three other Presidium members. The president and the vice president are members of the board according to § 26 BGB (German Civil Law Code).
The members of the Presidium are elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years. The mandate of the current Bureau runs from 2016 to 2019.

The following persons have been elected to the presidium:
1) Reimer Böge (President)
2) Hans-Benno Wichert (Vice President, German Livestock Association, BRS)
3) Josef Hannen (German Livestock Association, BRS)
4) Theodor Leuchten (German Equestrian Federation, Breeding Division)
5) Friedrich-Otto Ripke (Central Association of the German Poultry Industry, ZDG)
In addition, ADT Managing Director Hans-Peter Schons is a member of the executive committee in an advisory capacity.

International Green Week 2020 in Berlin

In 2020 the International Green Week Berlin confirmed its standing as the world’s leading trade show for agriculture, food and horticulture. As was the case last year, attendance at the fair and congresses in the halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds exceeded 400,000, including some 90,000 trade visitors from 75 countries. Discussions focused on the challenges faced by agriculture and the food industry as a result of climate change, and on proposed solutions aimed at finding production methods that are sustainable and ecological and that conserve resources. European Platform for the Responsible Use of Medicines in Animals (EPRUMA)
The European Platform for the Responsible Use of Medicines in Animals (EPRUMA) was established in 2005 with the mission of promoting the responsible use of medicines in animals in the EU.
