Presidium

The Presidium (Board) of ADT consists of the President, the Vice-President and three other Presidium members. The president and the vice president are members of the board according to § 26 BGB (German Civil Law Code).

The members of the Presidium are elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years. The mandate of the current Bureau runs from 2016 to 2019.


The following persons have been elected to the presidium:
1) Reimer Böge (President)
2) Hans-Benno Wichert (Vice President, German Livestock Association, BRS)
3) Josef Hannen (German Livestock Association, BRS)
4) Theodor Leuchten (German Equestrian Federation, Breeding Division)
5) Friedrich-Otto Ripke (Central Association of the German Poultry Industry, ZDG)

In addition, ADT Managing Director Hans-Peter Schons is a member of the executive committee in an advisory capacity.

Green Week 2024: Successful global dialogue platform for politics and the industry

From 19 to 28 January 2024, the Grüne Woche turned the Berlin exhibition grounds into the number one dialogue platform for politics and the industry. This year, the leading international trade fair for agriculture, food and horticulture was dominated by the national farmer protests. Chancellor of Germany Scholz, eight federal ministers and numerous politicians took the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with representatives from agriculture and food. Another focus was on international food security, the future of agriculture, culinary trends and sustainable innovations. Around 275,000 visitors attended the Grüne Woche.
